"Lunacy"
for Moon Journeys Dartington Gallery, Dartington College of Arts UK June 2003 Six artists/groups from varying disciplines were invited to accompany Joanna Mayes in her journey from Dartington to watch the moon rising over the sea. The event took place over the seven days before the full moon in June, producing an accumulation of artworks inspired by the seven journeys on the day of the full moon’s rising. The GPO created the installation "Lunacy" a recording of songs and conversation made during a journey to the moon via Babbacombe fennicular railway.
"444fm"
The radio station of the GPO broadcasts the Celtic Missions from www.444fm.com. Currently off air, the 444fm ran from February-July 2004.

"Box Set"
During a one month residency at the Duende Studios, Rotterdam, The Greater Periscope Orchestra recorded a Box Set of twelve CD's, comprising the full Celtic Missions. For this project, Live Field Recordings made in Scoland, Ireland, London andTexas were mixed live in the studio.
"Tea with Live Jam"
The GPO invite you to a tea party recording with live jam on Sunday 27th June 2004 at Duende Guest Studio, with optional football afterwards.

"Live PA-passive/aggressive"
The GPO were invited by New Forms Festival, Vancouver to be artists-in-residence during the Festival preparations September 2004. GPO ran an open jam workshop for Festival artists, volunteers, organisers and members of the public. The track Live PA-passive/aggressive used a recording of the 'set-up' as a base for an open source jam workshop.
"Space Van Race"
In December 2004 the GPO completed its three month residency at Duende studio, Rotterdam with the Space Van Race. Held as part of a group exhibition 'Free Communism".
"Addresses the race about the van and the ducks to launch competitive space van projects with soup. The artists competing for space and free drinks with soup again. Erican beamers cross rooftops to provide cat show and soup once more. Con gas or sin gas, it's up to you. Additional multi-cultural flags may meet wallet stuffing capitalists to the sound of french prussians. Free soup while reading slovenian. Bring shoes."

Space is full of the unknown, however our van will create a nodule of comfort from which the aspirations of sixties hippiedom will beam down a footprint of enlightenment, every ninety minutes. The Space Van Race was the premier Launch Event of the GPO. Participants bought Euro shares in the Van and then decorated and launched their vans into simulated orbit, racing to obtain orbital slots.
